God is you, me, all is One.

    Pain is forever unavoidable.

But make the most of it.

    statue of agony
prison, god is guilty of many crimes
    pillory, punish god

    One potential solution

Justice dealt to the supernatural and a universe with stuff to do, but no suffering.

    ying yang, unite, alternative viewpoint

    Alternative viewpoint

There is no external god, all is One, we are all "god."  The main con of religion is to fool you into thinking you aren't good enough and the fictitious need to prove oneself.

    suffering sculpture, suffering remains

    But the problem remains

    Suffering sucks!

worn in shoes, need to adjust to the harshness of life

If the alternative viewpoint is correct

Making the most of this imperfect realm - if no god is going to show up and face justice and fix things, then we need to adjust to that.

    thinking while smoking a pipe

Either way, WTF are we supposed to do?

The only two things you can.

Cope and make the most of it.

...And you will go through all of this again and again.

    Suffering is unavoidable.

Hey man, im nobody important but i wanted you to know that in some ways youre right but in a lot of it youre wrong. I think life dealt you some seriously terrible cards but I think that if you learn that God is so much more than what denominational faith teaches you then I think you'd be a much happier person. Catholicism is an evil beast that turns God's most devoted followers away. Im writing a book that in part denounces denominational faith. People like to think atheism is believing in science but truth of the matter is if you believe in science then you believe in God its just that nobody is going to tell you that because it doesn't fit the agenda that we've created for scholarly institutions. What I think is that God still and will always love you, that you can overcome a lot of what youre dealing with including the PTSD, I spent some time overseas when I was in the army and some of the stuff you see makes you really question why god would allow it and the answer to that is entropy. The universe groans for restoration and I think when you realize youre worth redeeming you'll focus on your mental and physical health, eat a proper diet, get regular haircuts, and start a family you'll soon realize that suffering truly is temporary and you don't have to choose to live in the past. God loves you, I love you and im sure the people in your life only want to see you happy, successful.

I don't think there's an external god. Perhaps the universe "loves" me. We can love each other, sometimes. Yes, making the most of life is truth but it doesn't happen overnight. However, there is no escaping physical and emotional pain. It's built into this place. For instance, great relationships come to ends. There is no arrival to no more pain. Unfortunately, I think it's that way in the spirit world too. Heaven is a carrot in front of a horse. Hell is a spear behind it driving it "forward." I believe in eternity, for myself included. I'd like to make a universe as described above on this page, where there is no pain. Just endless pleasurable things to discover and experience. Thanks for the note.
